A modest crew of CSH’ers took to the picturesque lands of Blessington, Co. Wicklow for ‘The Lakes 10k’, organised by Lakeshore Striders AC. The morning turned out to be another washout, with our lads team out braving the wind and rain. Neil O’ Rourke closed out his Summer season with a fine 4th place finish, in a time of 33mins32secs. Just behind in 5th place was Eoin Devlin, who had a great race running a new PB time of 34:12. Jason Reilly was 14th in 36:46. Andrew Moore was 20th in 37:12, with a much improved performance by Eanna Kavanagh in 24th. Just behind Eanna in 25th was Podge Coyle, with Eoin Kealy in 32nd.
