Looking Ahead – (2016 Weekly Report #27)

It was a quiet week for racing as we look ahead to the SSE Airtricity Fingal 10k, in Swords on the 24th July, run as part of the Dublin Marathon Race Series.

The BHAA DCC 5K will take place in Irishtown on the 20th July: https://bhaa.ie/events/dcc-5k-2016/

Track sessions are now taking place in Morton Stadium, Santry on Saturday mornings at 10am. Training on Tuesday’s will now take place in Phoenix Park for everyone. Thursday and Sundays will resume as normal.

Well done to all who competed in our annual club 2 mile league. The winner of the 2016 2 mile league was Vincent O’Neill. In second place was Maria Pozza, with 2015 winner Nick Devery and Noel Ryan tied for 3rd. This morning there was a great attendance for the prize giving and recap on the last few months of club achievements well done to all (and thanks to Joe for the pictures).
